Workout for the Day of July 6th, 2011

We get lots of inquires about getting faster.  Here's a good way to start!  Get yourself to the nearest high school or college track...

w/u : 1-2 mile jog 

20 x 400 meter intervals (5k race pace to start then negative split)

on 400 meters recovery/walk/jog between intervals

c/d easy 1 mile jog or walk as best you can.  (You should be done, done, and done if you push consistently to the end.)
