Jason Jaksetic (aka Barn Beast) is getting ready for the Death Race this weekend.  When asked one of his favorite workouts, this is what he spewed out while packing his stuff up for Hell on Earth this weekend in Pittsfield, VT.

"Mile repeats are essential to getting faster.  Mile repeats with dead legs is essential to simulating race conditions near the end of an event where you still need to be motoring but can't feel you legs."

Run 6 to 20 miles, progressing from easy to moderate

5 x 1 mile repeats on 3 minutes recovery

Each mile should be a negative split.

Last mile is puke speed.
