Workout of the Day for 6-22-11

 

How do you dominate a Spartan Race?  Be able to generate explosive power at maximum effort over obstacle...then hit the ground and run your ass off - FAST.  Being able to do burpees helps.  Enjoy this workout

warm up jog 1 mile then do 20 push ups

20 burpees IMMEDIATELY followed by 1/4 mile or 400 meter fast run

for time - Should be intesnse!

recover 2-3 minutes then repeat.

4-8 sets

Try and negative split.  What is a negative split?  That means each set you do you get faster, so start conservative or you'll blow up before the completion of your planned workout.
