Even the fastest pure runner can benefit from some strength training. Obviously, adjust weights and sets to suit your goals.

......I used this 2-3 times a week even if throwing down heavy mileage. Strength prevents injury.

3x12 leg press
3x12 lat pull down
3x12 squat
3x12 seated row
long core routine
100 push-ups
3x12 lunges
